In this last episode of the Back to Basics series, we talk about the final, essential step in setting up your Amazon business foundation; turning on the product “review machine.”

You do this by employing an email follow-up sequence, otherwise known as an autoresponder. Basically, you utilize a third-party service that integrates with Amazon’s internal messaging system to automatically email each buyer. In the process of follow-up emails, known as your email sequence, you should appeal for “feedback” in the form of a product review. Those receptive buyers who are willing to receive your message will ideally act on your request.

This is how you get consistent product reviews over time.

Also, remember to test subject lines and pay attention to open rates to maximize your results. Send PDFs or other multimedia information that is helpful or entertaining. Content that engages your buyer will be much better received and will likely increase your review conversions.
